My tip for today is fashioning a tea cosy out of a thickish teatowel. Gather a teatowel in its centre and wrap an elastic band around about an inch of material. The teatowel flows over the pot and you can tuck in the sides! To those of you in a warm centrally heated house this may seem mad – to those if us on a boat, it’s amazing how fast heat is lost – and I really dislike warm tea!! Needs to be hot!
